Snow Report: December 30th – January 5th

It’s almost the New Year, and you know what that means…great snow is in our future. We have already been seeing some great storms this season, and there is bound to be more to come. We Ski NYC highly recommends making the journey to a local mountain this week to enjoy your holiday. Check out the events at the mountains this week below!

Events By Date:

Tuesday December 31st: It’s New Year’s Eve, and you know what that means, it’s time to party! Many local mountains are offering fun New Year’s Eve events.

Hunter Mountain: NYE Torchlight Parade and Fireworks Show. Starting at 6:40 pm with the kids torchlight parade.

Stratton Mountain:  NYE Torchlight and Fireworks begins at 7pm in the Main Base Lodge. The NYE Party at Grizzly’s starts at 9pm and is 21 and up. Check out this link for more info.

Okemo Mountain: Family Friendly NYE Celebration. The fun begins with a magic and comedy show at 5:30 pm. Entrance fees apply.

Wednesday January 1st: It’s New Year’s Day, so pick your favorite mountain and hit the slopes, it is a holiday after all!

Friday January 3rd:

Stratton Mountain: Girls Time Out Snowboard Camp. Snowboard Camp for the Ladies begins on Friday and lasts all weekend.

Saturday January 4th:

Okemo Mountain: Vineyard Vines Ski Tour is visiting Jackson Gore. Stop by for fun, games, and giveaways on Saturday!

Sunday January 5th:

Hunter Mountain: College Week begins at Hunter Mountain on Sunday. Pay just $36 for a full day lift ticket with your college ID.

Mount Snow: Youth Pay Your Age Day. Anyone under the age of 18 can get a full day lift ticket for just the cost of their age, so if you are 16, your lift ticket is $16. Can’t beat this deal if you have kiddies that want to ski or board on Sunday!
